Permutation & Combination banking exams का logic-based और high-level chapter है। इसमें arrangement और selection से जुड़े सवाल पूछे जाते हैं। SBI PO और IBPS PO exams में P&C से conceptual questions आते हैं। Formulas clear हों तो questions आसानी से solve हो जाते हैं।
1️⃣ Permutation & Combination क्या है?
Permutation का मतलब होता है arrangement, जहाँ order matter करता है। Combination का मतलब होता है selection, जहाँ order matter नहीं करता। Exams में सबसे पहले यह decide करना जरूरी होता है कि question permutation का है या combination का।

Combination: 3 students को 5 में से select करना
2️⃣ Permutation (Arrangement)
Permutation में order बहुत important होता है। n different objects को r positions पर arrange करने का formula होता है: nPr = n! / (n−r)! Banking exams में direct formula based questions आते हैं।
5 letters में से 3 letters को arrange करना
= 5P3 = 5×4×3 = 60
3️⃣ Combination (Selection)
Combination में order matter नहीं करता। Selection based questions में combination apply होती है। Formula होता है: nCr = n! / r!(n−r)! Most common mistake permutation और combination को confuse करना है।
5 students में से 2 students select करना
= 5C2 = 10
4️⃣ Exam Tips – Permutation & Combination
पहले identify करें order matter करता है या नहीं। Factorial values अच्छे से याद रखें। Direct formula लगाने से पहले question को समझें। Guess work avoid करें। Regular practice से accuracy improve होती है।
